This is just one of the many interesting street corners here in my little neighborhood here in Kobe, Japan. It's about 2:30 in the afternoon, a little bit overcast today but still warm. You can see housewives riding their made in China bicycles to the market. You can see all the little mom and pop shops that line the streets and the cigarette vending machine on the corner. We don't have a lot of space here in Japan, but everything is orderly and people obey the laws for the most part.

  • Aloha from Hawai'i! I'll be studying at Konan University for 6 weeks for the summer. It'll be my first time studying abroad in Kobe. Any notable places I should check out during my free time?
