In the last fifty years, scientific research into complexity has revealed that we are all fucked. All complex, apparently random systems, like the static on a phone line and the drip of a faucet behave in a fractal, iterative manner.
Complex fractal systems are inherently unstable, unpredictable and prone to large fluctuations. Therefore, because the global stock market is another such complex fractal system, everything is probably gonna go to shit, again and worse.
