Husker Du Interview on Videowave -- May 1985

Alan Abramowitz (off camera) interviews Husker Du at the Peppermint Lounge (15th Street incarnation) in this segment rebroadcast in 1996. Videowave is a public access program featuring music ignored by the mass media. The Producer is Alan Abramowitz. This on-location interview could not have been done without the services of Seth Brown, and Robert Barry Francos. I must thank Bob Mould (of Husker Du) for all the mentions of Videowave on line throughout the years.
The following segment was a philosophical musing feature called Culture of Life Culture of Death involving a fictional discussion between 2 researchers after the destruction of Western civilization. That was done in 1996. This is just an excerpt of a longer piece.

They must have been playing a show with the Neighborhoods that night, you can hear them launching into "She's So Good" in the background. Two phenomenal bands, that's for sure.

It was at the Pepperment Lounge. The Pepp had moved from 42nd St. into what WAS the Electric Circus. I dont remember the Boston band the neighborhoods, but Robert Barry Francos was there and is a fan of Boston Bands. I'll ask.

The neighborhoods were indeed the openers that night. Great show as I recall. The thing I remember most was how ticked Bob was at the spitting "punks." As a general rule, this is only kind of thing that ever interrupted the Huskers live barrage, be it spitting, knocking over stuff, excessive diving, etc.
