I've been to the alternate universe in which Pokemon exist........but before I could explore this amazing world this music started playing.........and I saw Red waiting. Needless to say, I turned around and went back through the portal through which I came and promptly destroyed it.

Actually if you download the picture, and have a picture editing software(Paint.NET, Gimp, Photoshop) You can see that Left "Red" is the Red from FireRed and LeafGreen,Middle Red is the original badass Red, and right "Red" is crappy Ash.

Maybe he's reffering to Ash in general. Ash is a lousy wanna-be Red, so he will never get to the Elite 4. He's not even EVOLVING all of his Pokemon. He preferes to keep his little Pikachu who falls back to like Lv. 5 whenever he enters a new Region.
