One of my favourite comedy sketches of Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones. Griff makes the mistake of quoting Oscar Wilde's 'The Intuition of a Woman' in front of Mel. From 1986

  • TOTALLY FUNNY!

  • Superb wordplay sketch.

  • @sunburningstare Anything for a fellow classic comedy fan!

  • @VirgilwithanE ah..that makes much more sense thank you, i understood what he said but i would never imagine a tit to be a bird ahah....and since i didnt knew how to spell waywardness i was kinda stuck, thanks again ; >

  • I've only ever HEARD this sketch on tape. Never seen it before. Thanks for the upload!

  • @sunburningstare A tit is a type of bird as well as what comes to all male minds, lol! A cock is what americans call a rooster and the WAYWARDNESS of the wind. Basically, the way it moves. D'you get it now? lol

  • can anyone tell me what a song of a tit, the crow of a cock is ? and what of the wind ? please ..

  • When Oscar wrote this I wonder if, - at the back of his mind......he was thinking this?!

  • SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Many, many thanks for uploading this - which had me rolling on the floor with laughter when it was first transmitted in '86 (much to my parents' bewilderment) So good to see it again.
