Sam Harris is the author of the New York Times bestsellers, The End of Faith and Letter to a Christian Nation. The End of Faith won the 2005 PEN Award for Nonfiction.

Mr. Harris' writing has been published in over fifteen languages. I know O'Reilly is usually an arrogant moron who tries his best to belittle whoever he has on his show, but I really think you guys are extrapolating that behavior to this video unjustly and judging him way too much. I mean, to be honest he was pretty docile and concordant with Harris during this entire interview. Sure, he disagreed with Harris, but he respected his opinion, let him speak, and even agreed with him on some points. That's rare for Bill- he deserves some credit for that.

O'Reilly is such a piece of shit. It is clear that such a complex topic can't be answered by saying yes or no. By forcing his guests to make a blanket statement about a gray area to get a sound bite not only shows journalistic ignorance but also a underlining motive that is suspicious.
