  • It's so refreshing to be able to scroll down and see that every comment on the page has complete sentences.

  • Who's with me, 'Bullshit' should be taken out of the context of a cuss word and simply mean "That which is utter nonsense".

Such a bold word that accurately labels the various things that have put us where we are now.

Thank you Pen and Teller, I'll say the word Bullshit Proudly.

  • I am a true libertarian up to the thought of no Govt roads. This ridiculous. It's the govt's job to provide safe channels for commerce to be done.

  • baldy

  • Drew Carey don't love Ohio anymore it's becuz they don't hav marijuana dispensaries there. Da price iz wrong bitch

  • Liberal= govt worship. Nothing liberating about saying "more govt will solve this problem."

  • @EffieReal The problem is that any company that is stealing from the public on a scale like that is going to give money to politicians and will be above the law, like the oil and banking industries. Government IS accountable to the people. Corporations only motivation is profit and monopoly, with no regard for the public or even common decency.

The life blood of our economy is our communications, energy and transportation infrastructure and by definition there can be no competition.

  • @zigzigerblat Yeah, it's seems intuitive that government should continue to run the highways. However, I just watched this: watch?v=TIG0M4WT0s0 and found out that basically the feds have collected gas tax for decades but didn't use it to maintain the hwys. They robbed the funds just like they did to social security. Anyway, our highways are currently past the due date for rebuilding and the gvmt has no plans to fix it. If a private company did that we could complain to the government.

  • Wow, they were very reasonable until they lost me on the privatizing the highways. The last thing I need is a slime ball greedy corporation overcharging and under-maintaining highways to the point I can't afford to use them. I already can't leave my 100 sf apt because money is being sucked out of me every step I take outside. Unless you make an excess of money you are slaving 24-7 to survive in this country now. I need surgery and would only be able to get it because of a government program.

  • So . . . it grows naturally, can be made better with a little cultivation, has some health benefits, some people love it & others hate it, it's a lovely shade of green, its sale and distribution is controlled by the government, even though it shouldn't be . . . yup . . . you guessed it . . . I'm talking about broccoli.

    And MJ.

  • One more reason to love drew carey!

  • "Liberal is not what liberals are. There is nothing liberating about being a liberal. If you are calling for greater control of our lives by the government, that's the opposite of liberation. The modern day liberal has nothing in common with the Jeffersonian concept of liberal and liberty. So if we have people who call themselves liberals, who are subscribing to an ideology that is the opposite of the spirit of our founding documents, then they are on the wrong, and yes, bad side of things."
