Integrated mechatronic system for detection of yarn presence

The presented system is designed to be used by manufacturers in the textile industry. The main advantages are:
1. 100% detection compared to the classical detection systems were failure of yarn presence detection occurs frequently
2. Yarn equipment reliability statistics is done in real-time
3. Data may be sent remotely in order to be stored and analyzed later on
4. End user has access to a modern color touchscreen visual interface, designed to be user friendly and which can be customized depending on actual client's requirements
5. The system response time in case of yarn continuity failure is less than 200ms, system's acoustic and visual warning messages being imediately activated
