blue or pink foam is really cheap i found some in a dumpster but it is called ridged insulating foam

styfrofoam is shit cos its little bubble things go everywhere i use that pink foam like styrofoam but its solid and more durable.... still awesome though and im not trolling good job man. i still think pink foam from b&q is worth a look at though :)

It's standard builders polystyrene insultation. I buy sheets 8'x4' 2" thick for £12, it's not the modeling stuff. Yeah, it's easy to work with, especially on general stuff like hills etc.
The hotwire cutter is from the model train people Woodland Scenics.
