Actually iaindking, I own all of Martyn Bennett's CDs apart from this one - which I did have but got scratched. I'd be more than happy to buy this and contribute to the Martyn Bennett Trust (which I'd encourage others to do) but Hardland is incredibly difficult to get these days, unless you count the occassional extortionate find on eBay. It's no bad thing to enjoy his music on youtube, especially if this widens his audience and creates a bigger demand for re-releases.

I have all of Martyns Cds But still looking to hear his music on youtube and helping to spread the word :and if they ever re issue them i would certanly buy them alla gain :)

@iaindking Further, I have bought Martyn Bennett's CDs directly when possible, but from private sellers when not possible. I have also donated to the trust, and will be doing so again soon.

Actually, McKay's Memoirs is rarer now. I own all the Martyn Bennett albums excepting Glen Lyon. I found Hardland at the amazon UK site from a private seller. I paid a pretty penny for it too! I wish they would re-issue his works! Maybe they will one day. Meanwhile, we have to work to keep this music pinging on people's radar so the legacy doesn't fade.

I came here while looking for for Double Dutch music and became a fan of Martyn after hearing this track followed by all the others. Thanks to everyone who took the time to put his songs and tunes on here so people like me can discover a true genius who i never knew existed until a few months ago.
