The Sapporo subway consists of three lines: the Namboku Line (Green) , the Tozai Line (Orange) and the Toho Line (Blue). All three lines intersect at Odori Station. The first line, the Namboku Line opened i 1971 prior to the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics. Presently there are 49 stations on the Sapporo Subway. http://www.japanvisitor.com/japan-cit...

    In Sapporo, they have the With You card and there is actually a video of it on Youtube about it. Do a search for it.

    Is the suica card only in sapporo? I was thinking of just getting day passes when I visit there in a couple of months (kind of like what I do in Tokyo). But if there is a better method of payment in the train system, please let me know.
