@Fulguris The glass is scratch-resistant, not shatter-resistant I'm affraid.

The problem isn't with motorola defy - there simply aren't any shatter-resistant glasses that can be used in touchscreens. See video: nm2DAumuyFU - this kind of glass can resist hammering but it needs to be encased in metal, thick and touchscreens won't work.

Supposedly there's a new gorilla glass coming up with more flexibility which should solve the shatter issue for next-gen phones.
