Walter the Bagle Hound

This is Walter the Bagle Hound. (1/2 Beagle & 1/2 Bassett) His mother's name is Isabelle and his father's name is Ozzy. We got him from some folks that had to move quickly because a member of their family was being deployed to Afghanistan. (Please pray for our troops!) Anyways...Walter has the physique of a Beagle and the size of a Basset, and the best of each breed's personality. I think he's a superhound but I'm partial. He makes these cute little moans when you pet him at the end. ...and oh yeah...he's a momma's boy! :)

Congrats folks! You got a winner! We rescued a Bagle in May, and after he kept running into glass doors, regular doors, etc, but still likes to run, we named him Forrest. Forrest Gump. Looking for a Jenny or Bubba now. We used to have George & Carlin. We have found the beagle/basset mix to be a win-win personality wise.

awesome, i rescued two basset/beagle mixes from our local pound, they are from the same litter and i got them 4 months apart.have had them a little over a year and they have been the light of my life ever since. congrats and enjoy
