Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (2009), 7:26.4 with standart sport tires by Jim Mero for General Motors.
and 7:32 by Walter Röhrl with a Porsche 911 GT2 (2008 modell) in 2007 with standart tires for Porsche.

@SuperDukeSthlm This video is not even legit...at 1:41, it shows that the corvette did a 12.03 in a quarter mile......I saw a video where a stock zr1 did a quarter mile in 11.5 sec. So the Zr1 is faster!

We agree that the Porsche is faster from standings starts due to the weightdistribution, right.
But when you talk about "the track", you mean 1/4 mile, right?
I love Porsche over the Italians and that shit due to its utilitarianistic soul combined with the performance. And you seem to forget that the Porsche is built fort a real racetrack, the one with corners you know! No one doubts that the Vette has a powerful engine! But that´s not everything!
