Chafee: All the time people tell me, Linc I really like you but I want to send Bush a message.

I say, when we rushed into Iraq, the majority of Republicans and Democrats voted for the war.

I stood against the Senate and the President and voted no.

I've always stood for principle, even if it meant standing alone.

And that's a message worth sending to Washington.

Lincoln Chafee is the best republican ever. I am not so fond of republicans as of recently, but if Lincoln Chafee were running in my area, I would vote for him. He is a perfect example of what the republican party should be like.

I'm glad Whitehouse won, although I do beleive that Chafee is an independant thinker, an honest man and decent Senator. There seems to be little room in the Republican Party for reasonable moderates.
