People act like animals are not snuffed in nastier ways every second by each other. It's just the plight of being a creature at the lower end of the food chain--other animals will kill and eat you.

@5tonyvvvv The same could easily be said for cannibalism, monkey brains while the monkey is still alive, or that dish in Western China where they sedate a Donkey and eat it while it's still alive.

The fish probably doesn't suffer from being torn apart with chopsticks by the people eating it, since that part of its body is mostly dead by then. But the way they cook it! Holding the head above the boiling oil, so the brain would stay alive, just so it would move later on the plate?!? Now that's torture...
And why? Just so that some pathetic people could brag about having eaten a fish while it was still alive? Wow...
But then again... if only that was the worst thing people did...
