  • Hi Boris, when you are tradig from the smaler timeframes like 15 or 5m, do watch the larger tf's too, like a 1 hour chart? Or do you only keep focus on that 1 timeframe?

  • @me2995 I watch only 1 timeframe. The longer term MA averages serve a guide for bias

  • Using a risk/reward of 2:1 seems like a recipe for failure

  • @airplaneking You have to listen carefully. You take only half off at half risk and then trail the rest so on the second half you could make 2 or 3 times risk if you catch the move - that what we do at our BK service.

  • I gotta tell you - I am much more comfortable with this sort of trade (swing) than with the scalping you've covered in recent posts. I'm not certain why you refer to this as a derivative of the scalping trade method, though, since this seems like straight swing. But that quibble aside, thanks for looking at the greater risk/reward options.

  • @TimothyMcCready I just meant that it was derived from my work on scalping. The setup is definitely a swing.
