@PeteWaldo The point is, contrary to Dr. Bertrand Russel and other mockers of the gospel,Jesus was NOT a false prophet who was deluded and only THOUGHT He was coming back before the end of His generation. A generation is 40 years. Jesus died approximately in the year 33 AD. 40+33= 73 The destruction of Jerusalem was 70 AD He came in the clouds in judgment just as Jehovah had in Isaiah 19 and NUMEROUS other places. The high priest understood Him and tore His robes. Too bad non preterists don't.
