@Ur2ez4me81 The reason why they are treated like criminals is so Private prisons get paid. It costs more than $20,000 per person for marijuana possession each year.

private prisons are being built everywhere. You'd be surprised what corporations and individuals own them. Just recently they found out prisoners are used as a labor force, so on top of outsourcing jobs out of this country, other jobs go to prisons where they don't get paid.. So there is Corporate America.

In Britain it costs the government more than £1 billion a year catching criminals etc. 80% of these are linked to cannabis. There is a very high chance we will be heading back into a recession. Not one person has died solely to cannabis. Please tell me why a plant we can grow is illegal but it has never killed one person when taken on it's own.

@MrMotifer1 not if you use a vaporizer, but the good thing about pot is it's not a harsh chemical addiction like cigs. So even though tar in smoke is still bad for your lungs, you won't do as much damage smoking pot because you're not a slave to addiction.
