The 2010 GMC Granite Concept appeals to people with active lifestyles. See how the interior of the car and the flip-and-fold seat design allows the vehicle to hold a mountain bike or snowboard but still have a small footprint. Share your thoughts on the Granite on thelab.gmblogs.com

Love the design.. dont care if they mess with the interior, but keep the exterior and wheels as concept, and I'd buy.. Would also like to see the left rear door open as well. Dont need to store my MTB in the side, I ride to my trails anyhow!

love it. never would have considered a more "boxy" shape car when i would go car shopping, that is one original car. the front is just a stunning look, awesome

Design is beautiful, but it's quite a fopaux not to have an American speaker for a brand such as GMC. Do American's not design cars anymore? Your (GM's) Buick commercial touts its German engineering as well - do American's not engineer quality anymore either - or have all the good engineers simply gone to another car company? Ford's are looking great too - just sayin'

I love this design--highly original, beautifully detailed. One thing I would like to see added is the ability to do car camping--to sleep in the car. If the front seats are comfortable enough reclined that might work, but some part of the interior that can be totally flat, combined with an air mattress (or enough padding in the upholstery, maybe memory foam) would make the car even more versatile.
