This was all filmed from the blunt end and mostly looking backwards. The boat chasing was the one we shared the ride up the Anderton Boat Lift with. For a lot of this I was using X20 optical zoom and it shows! There is a fair amount of camera wobble.

Unfortunately, the steering skills of our following friend seemed to be on a par with our own "Blind Hannibal MacSlackbladder", as he came to grief just below Bradley Meadow Bridge No 206.

Along the two miles or so of this trip we saw a few things such as a gnome colony, a vintage Yamaha motorcycle and a vintage Roller that you don't normally see on a narrowboat trip!

We moored for the night near the Black Prince base at Bartington Wharf and dined at the Leigh Arms. Despite it being Curry Night I stuck with Bangers & Mash on the grounds you can't find a decent sausage in the USofA
