Oh god...that pit....DX

Static, boring, lifeless. This performer is cute and has a pleasant enough voice, but I agree that he is way too young to understand what this character is all about. There is no passion here, no sense that Robert finally "gets it."
And yes, the trumpets were awful.

he's a young kid - doing a song that's far too young emotionally for him. On a positive - if that's where he is now - and only at college - he'll be able to handle it emotionally in a few more years

Pit sounds awful

Which ones are gay I wonder. In musical theater everybody seems gay but most are not. Hard to tell.

The performer is quite promisingly decent -- if a little too much on the puppy dog side -- but he got better toward the end and a great finish it was. Guess the orchestra needs performing experience, but a better choice would have been a skilled keyboardist on a synthesizer, with somebody on bass and somebody on percussion.

song is not to big for me.

@ephvazquez you tell him....and yes i do realize this is from a year ago

The orchestra really killed this...I think if Sondheim had anything to do with this production he'd have burned their instruments. Bobby isn't the worst I've ever heard, but being that it's a college production you have to let a lot of stuff slide I guess.

.. is he supposed to be smiling... -.-
I'm in a musical theater college in Ontario and let me just say. This is a dissapointing performance. The singer looks like he hasn't studied the role enough. There are moments in the peice that he's missing completely. I've workshopped that song and frankly I'm not impressed. I'm not trying to be mean or anything. Its just there is a process that a student should go through to find the moments and I don't think he did. thats my opinion. like it or not, I actually do know what I'm talking about.

none of the people in this show are musical theater students or even regular drama students.
"I've workshopped that song..." "Like it or not, I actually do know what I'm talking about" <--- Do you realize how ridiculous you sound saying things like this.
