Part 3 of Wall of honor induction of deceased veteran Capt Edward Davis USN, AMVETS post 19 in Lancaster PA. Capt Davis Graduated from Annapolis class of 1962 as a ensign then attended flight school in Pensacola FL graduating in the spring of 1964 earning his wings and a promotion to Lieutenant JG after training in a A1-HJ sky raider he flew combat bombing missions over Vietnam off the USS Oriskany (CV-34) after flying 56 very dangerous and hazardous bombing missions over North Vietnam on his 57th mission 26th of august 1965. He was shot down and became a prisoner of the North Vietnamese army. And then spent 7 years as a prisoner in the Hanoi Hilton.
