Landing the Boeing 747-400 at Sentani Airport, Papua, Indonesia. This field is in a valley; approaching runway Three-Zero in a normal glideslope would put you in a lake. I had to come over the edge of the lake, dive downward (using the spoilers for a second made the craft drop like a rock, a no-no with flaps IRL) and flare just above the ground. I floated a little, but still had adequate room to stop, as the vid shows. I actually had to 'plant' the aircraft (note the slight pitch-down after crossing the threshold)


The weight was as follows; Payload - 96,930, Fuel - 143,552.06, Gross - 634,570 (post-landing).
