@fordboy111591 I have owned many big blocks, the 73 Monte Carlo with a 454 and I now own a 1977 Ford F150 with 72000 original miles and a 460 with 300hp. I see no difference between the 77 460 and the 73 454 engines. They both had about the same hp and same torque. Getting at is that both engines are equal as far as I am concerned. Both great engines. Old Chevys and Fords are part of America's past! They both deserve equal credit!

some people out in the world just dont get it i own quite a few ford including a 71 f250 but have driven and owned all makes and the simple fact is they all are great when they run and they all suck when they break and they all will break something eventually
