Religious atheism

Is there such a thing as religious atheism? Its roots are deceiving and and agrees more with outright atheism by making man the center of worship.

"The alignment of the planets","we simply came from nothing", "the complexity of the human body reproducing time after time without a god", impossible? Ever heard of SCIENCE?

"Religiosity?!" Say what? Richard Dawkins and his "ilk?" Since when are rational, intelligent people "ilk?"

It's amazing the enormous amount of misunderstanding the people of "religiosity" have about non-believers. How can they have an informed opinion of this while their minds are clouded in the deluded belief in the supernatural?

I just have to watch these videos as a form of humor. That they can make such colossal statements concerning unverifiable myth with a straight face is laughable.

Lol, this "Something from Nothing" claim irks me.

No rational atheist believes this. It's a "strawman". An oversimplification of the actual processes involved. The correct term, is "Complexity from Simplicity." At no point does "Nothing" come into the equation in either:

-The Big Bang

-Abiogenisis

-Evolution

They are all instances of complexity arising from simplicity.

I don't think there is such a thing as religious atheism. Not being of one particular religious denomination does not automatically push you into another religion.

As a Rabbai, he is a Jew. And unless I'm mistaken, Jews reject Jesus as being God. They say he was a prophet.

But I think you may be partly right about him, I'd classify him as an agnostic in Jew's clothing. =P It may be a little hypocritical, but puts food on the table.

"I am god" doesn't apply to atheism. That's megalomania.

You are the one making it egocentric. Not atheists. You are implying that the earth and everything else in the universe weren't an accident because they were put here for us. While the atheist says he is unimportant in this regard because it is all random and by chance. I mean according to the bible god loved humans even more than angels let alone any other organism on earth, all of which according to the bible were put here for our pleasure. It's only miraculous if you don't understand it.

Understand it, and I doubt you'll panic and reach for God so much.

99% of evolutionary biologists are atheists, because they know exactly how these "miraculous" things happen.

Religion is anti-reason, it asks for faith, by definition belief without evidence. The world is out there to understand - you just have to get off your arse and learn about it.
