In 1983 me and a friend decided to go on a Greyhound bus trip from Terre Haute IN to Hollywood then to Seatle, WA, tthen to Milwakee, WI and back to Terre Haute, it was the greatest adventure of our life.. You meet people from all walks of life, from buisness men to new imagrents. It made me truly love this country.We were inspired by this song.

To fully understand their music, you had to have lived in 1960s/1970s America. I was lucky enough to have done that. I'm 60 y/o now and just hearing this song brings back that time in history, with its negatives and positives. Yes, that America is gone.
