That is a case of the kettle calling the pan black arse if ever ive seen one.

The birds have an awful quakity of life behind their prison bars but thats ok because it wouldnt have been born at all otherwise.

@algamour I think it works out for most animals that need to be tamed (manned) : goldfinches are hectic birds , , try switching all lights off in a room with the finch , light a candle and approach him everynight until he gets used to your big self . After a few days he should be calm in your hands with low light , if he responds well , try going out a bit late in the day and so on until he can eat seeds from hand . I man my falcons that way , only they feed on rats and quails ;)

I just got my first eropean goldfinch but I wish he was as calm as this one. My goldfinch is agitated and scared shittless . I am even thinkinh to release him. Does anybody have an idea how to tame him??
