The first clue that this guy falls off of the stage a lot is the mic is strapped to his hand. Next gig I'm sure a helmet was added.

this is not someone getting busted. This "performances" are very common on TV. It's like a deal between the Tv show and the Audience. The band get on the stage knowing the everybody knows that it's gonna be a dubbed lip-sync performance. No one was pretending to be playing live in the first place. Wake up, haters.
by the way, if I were a musician I would never do a TV show on those terms.
But do not forget, folks: that band wasn't trying to fool anyone.
