@FJ509 Depends on what map and what character i am up against. I usually don't build a shield if i am facing cutter or another covenant leader.I always build a shield against anders and forge.

i really wish HW gameplay was better... i love the universe of Halo and i think if they had UNSC v. Covenant v. Flood with good gameplay similar to Starcraft, it would be a lot more enticing to me

I think anders is so overpowered. All upgrades research double as fast and pay half price and the hawk super unit is too good to be so cheap. And the cryo bomb can kill like 25 air units with one bomb. OP

@durandal9900. Actually, in the higher TS levels, like 40+, next to no one builds a shield.

He couldnt. Because then he wouldnt of been able to protect his base from my warthogs and I would of won. If he did attack, I had several flame throwers at my base andhe would of lost his prophet.

Because all units get a damage and armor buff along wth what the upgrade says. So for example, Power Turret on Scorpion tanks not only make the turret faster, they also give it more damage and more health. So flashbang on flamers give the flamers enough damage and HP to stand a chance against covy leaders.
