@lindsaykent55 Control range of the tail rotor would be rather limited. The pilot can raise or lower engine speed a few percent and adjust the collective to compensate. If the rotor overspeeds it may require a full rotor overhaul; if it underspeeds, the power requirements rise exponentially and the ship drops out of the air.

It is not easy to control your yaw with acceleration...that pilot did a great job.
