Daniel's Glider Experience Movie..mpg

In the gorgeous Indian summer of October 2011, I was lucky enough to fly a glider for the first time. The acceleration from the 350 BHP winch launch was phenomenal. 0-60mph in under 2 seconds beats any supercar (that's about 2G acceleration). We then climbed at 40 degrees to 1,500 feet in less than 30 seconds. With the help of upcurrents and thermals we stayed aloft for around 10 minutes. I was able to take the controls for some of the flight and executed a roll then a banked turn before levelling out. A highly recommended experience. The experience was paid for and filmed by my wife. Filming equipment was 2 x JVC-GZ-HD7 Full HD.camcorders. 2 x Rode Videomic's with deadcats. Edited with Avid Studio and then mastered to Blu Ray.
