http://www.myspace.com/jsebsteelguitar Please comment or rate! My COVER of the great Bob Dylan's version (1962, recorded before The Animals). An old folk song played by a lot of musicians in one century.
This modest acoustic cover is a one take recording, on micro br (Boss). This track is also on soundclick in mp3 : http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=9310026&q=hi&am...
To my dear Father who love this tune !!!
*With danieldesete on vocals, I made 3 covers of Bob Dylan's tunes :

About this song House of the risin' sun :
Coming from wikipedia, in french :
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_the_Rising_Sun

Origine

"House of the risin' sun" is on the first album of Bob Dylan, 1962.

It's a cover of the Bob Dylan's version by me (with some little changes).

    Hope you like it!

  • @ididntpuke80 nah it's folk song, unknown writer, lots of people have their version, so no inception. It's like sayin Led Zeppelin wrote Babe Immo Leave U ;]

  • I like less than the original version.. :/

  • so nice. good job ! very good !

  • cover of a cover of a cover... super inception (Bob Dylan covered this song, originally written and recorded by Leadbelly =p)

  • Respectfully, I found a few problems with it. Your sound levels between vocal and instrumental...leave a little to be desired; not a bad voice if you could really hear it. Since the guitar level was so loud it emphasized a lot of mistakes. I know its a cover of a cover, but your pacing just sounds like you forgot the words at points or the songs tempo and not any sort of artistic difference.

  • bob dylan's singing? o-O
