Christmas Play performed at Lakeside Church of God of Prophecy in Westmoreland, TN. Written and directed by Kevin D. Carver. The play is a story ot two worlds set in different times but under the same circumstances. We've grown busy and consumed with everything around us and have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas and what it is to be a Christian - Love, Forgiveness, Peace, Joy, Hope, Longsuffering, etc...
We meet a lady that is excited about seeing Jesus again and the wonderful story of what he has done in her life. However, everyone else around her is more worried about having everything prepared and ready for the guest to arrive at the party - everyone but Jesus that is. The other scene is set years in the future with a husband and wife that are reminded about the most important things at Christmas - Family and the love of Jesus.
