94 % chance is of registry errors and 6 % chance is of hardware faulty...one of my friend told me about Reginout tool it is an intelligent and recommended tool to fix registry errors..so u should also try this tool...

@BetaFlux hey man dont wanna be a downer man but if i was you i'd be gettin rid of the magnetic screwdriver that your using. NOT good for a hdd! with a magnet that is powerfull enough can wipe your hdd right out and your hdd will be junk. i know that screwdriver may not have that much magnetic force but its still not something you wanna put near your pc! NO MAGNETS NEAR HDD! that computer case you got there that green xion was my very first build i ever built!

@TheSpinningthebullet sometimes the blue screen will list a file name at the top or a cause, and also you could google the stop error code at the bottom for more info.

what if the working computer that I try to connect the nonworking hard drive to doesn't have the same kind of port? The CD Rom powersource is much different than the old hard drive. Is there an adapter or something I can use?

@adburton76 Sounds like you have an ATA serial hard drive, there is an adapter you can buy, or get ahold of an external hard drive enclosure, you might be able to plug your non working hard drive into that, I have an external hard drive that I use as an adapter. they come apart real easy to be able to swap drives

@Chocolatelover123 Sure it can. You will need an adapter to plug it into a usb port.
