@tmartfaulk Martin is know to be a bit of a comic book geek. He's actually wearing a 'Watchmen' tshirt - a comic book series by Alan Moore that was released around the same time as Brave Words. But, yeah, he's never been the snappiest dresser ;)

God bless that man but really, a smiley face t shirt??? Maybe its just me but I'm sure that even by the standards of the day smiley face shirts were a little dated. Great song, great breat band but why must we Chills fans suffer from the stigma of Martin Phillips dress sense

Wondrously original; about the only comparable song I can think of is the Soft Boys' "Underwater Moonlight". Delightful performance!

so many of his songs have multiple ideas and melodies. the songwriting on brave words, submarine bells and soft bomb is just supelative--
