@Emu1gmx It does, but I think it may just be the frame it stands in. Mounted to a solid structure I think it'll look more robust. Either way, amazing skill to build this and fantastic design. Very steampunk!

It seems to me that your locking mechanism is backward - if I remember correctly, the hatches on board ships and subs lock clockwise and unlock counterclockwise - and in the video it seems that you instinctively try to lock/unlock it that way. That is a minor point, however. Your work, is breathtakingly beautiful - how many hours did this take you? It is a fantastic example of true craftsmanship.
