Artemisia Gentileschi (Artemisia Lomi) daughter of the famous Orazio Gentileschi Lomi - 1593 to 1653 was very successful in Rome, Florence and Naples between his main artistic and mythological Oloforne beheaded by Judith, Esther and Ahasuerus, St. Catherine of Alexandria, Saint Cecilia allegory of inclinations commissioned by the young Buonarroti in Florence, the conversion of Mary Magdalene, works inspired by Cleopatra and mythologies including Clio, the goddess of history.
