Doing a good job on John's song. Prine is one of the better pickers, today.

@jordanthecat C'mon man! You are amazing! A lot of musicians go undiscovered, and I feel that you're one of them. You are crazy good, man!
-
you are very good. Many musicians aren't discovered, but you could make a living doing this. You are a very talented man. Kudos to you, sir!

Awsome song, great job!
-
are you certain you aren't related to john prine? man, you sound so much like him in tone and phrasing! yours is the absolute best rendition of this song not done by john himself. keep on pickin', and postin' your pickin's. thanks.

You're a very good player and an excellent teacher.
As an older (50) and fairly new guitar player learning to finger pick is very tough. But your lesson on "Hello in There" was awesome. I practice it everyday and my wife loves it since it is one of her favorite songs by JP.
So here's another vote for making this a lesson someday. PLEASE?
Thanks for all your contributions!

@pigseye2: Hello In There is my very favorite John Prine song. Relax when you are trying to do the fingerpicking thing, and only use my video as an introduction to Travis Picking- take a couple of lessons from a real guitar teacher and you'll get it in no time. Your wife, I'm sure, will be suitably impressed by the results. Let me know if I can be of further assistance in the meantime.

Many thanks, but I'm not a good enough player or teacher to be doing any more lesson-type videos, to be honest.

I appreciated your input on Sam Stone and have been trying to play it properly ever since, though with mixed results- I've been playing it my wrong way for quite a few years now! If I can ever return the favour, I'd be very glad to do so!
I never met a John Prine fan I didn't like.
