Never saw this much snow when I was there from '96 to '01. We usually just got the frost on the ground with very light covering of snow which melted to slush soon after.

As a Canadian applying for an exchange at UCD... this amount of snow looks like nothing to me! :oP Heehee, but that's awesome though - looks like people were having fun!

Ah... we only got one shower of snow in UL, and it didn't even last long enough for me to go driving around in it :(

Yeah it was cool to see it alright. It was the first time i'd ever seen proper snow in UCD. Although it was a right pain in the hole trying to get home. Usually 10 mins, took 1 hour. Gobshites crawling along at 5 mph in case they might get a slide. it wasn't even slippy! Grrr
