For those on this page with no observation skills, this is no zeppilin. It was observed by at least 30 people in Salida, including radio station personnel. By referencing the movement of the object against the side of the house it is obviously making radical maneuvers. Tim never believed in ET craft, etc until this event. His dad observed it and is retired USAF radar spec. Coupled with the video, witness accounts, the accounts from all along that mountain range, this is a highly credible event.

I remember hearing/reading comments by Tim saying how the smaller craft were exiting the larger one. This is one of the best ufo sightings of all time.

Does anyone know if a video of this exists using an embossed filter? Using that would bring out greater detail of movement within the video.

Also, I read that the "knight rider" strobe on the main object was actually multi-layered and multi-colored.

well dunno what to say i just saw the video and i was kina shocked.....2 weeks ago a frind of mine saw a sim ilar object in the sky......he managed to take a picture and it look verry similar to this one, but the thigs is this object stood in the sky in the same position gor like 10 min....after that we don't know what happnd he had to and didn't see the object again...kinda strange...

I live in Salida the day it happen all power in town was out and Radio stations were down for nearly half a hour.

Wow....really? That's very interesting.

This is one of my favorite videos due to it being a clear daylight sighting and the ufo exhibits a K.I.T.T-like (from the tv show Knight Rider) strobe effect across the front. AWESOME!!!

In my opinion, this sighting ranks at least within the top 5 of all time. It's too bad that it's not given as much publicity as The Phoenix Lights.

I stabilized a portion of this video referenceing the chimney on the roof. The object appears to make straight, stop-and-start moves and hard-angle turns. I'd like to see a fuller analysis

lets face it most ufo reports are misidentified objects and or hoaxes,but this one even fooled the experts or should I say,the self appointed experts.One of the most respected said it was a spider web reflecting sun light,swarms of bugs,etc.Nobody really knows what to say about it,most are afraid to comment.

@southernmind have you seen the whole video,it raises lots of questions,remember your looking at a object zoomed in by as much as 8 times,so thats not exactly how it looked.At one point I thought the video mirrored itself,but I just don't know.A true professional ,not the ones Iv'e seen look at it,[see its a solid object,up to a mile long,duh your looking at the zoomed video]someday we might have the all the facts with some good detective work.

@bassbob42 they are cleaning up there act,it wasn't MUFON so much,mainly just a few.The truth is what people what,plain and simple.We still have few answer's,the truth is really out there and I want to know what it is period.

the lighting seems to correspond to the lights described by the 1628 flight crew flying over Alaska.Look I don't know what this is,but I'm convinced it was a real object or ? The so called experts can't figure it out,so it must be fake,Tim and his father really tried to figure out what it was,the full video will convince most, that it is something real[not green little men]but some kind of new technology or ? I just don't know.

@SeeksOnlyJesusChrist That's too bad, how long ago was that? I know that there have been a lot of positive changes in MUFON recently. Years ago I refused to join, but they were making a lot more sense 5 years ago than they were 15 years ago.

If any of them are around, contact The UFO guy on THE EXAMINER or MUFON to document this sighting. I had not heard of it. But thereagain, many are not reported.
