Media Matters has documented numerous examples of Fox News hosts and correspondents cropping comments by progressives and Democratic political figures in a manner that misrepresents them.

  • Short answer does indeed = "yes."

Damn shame that Faux pinheads can only communicate in short answers.

Why not air the man's COMPLETE answer?

Dressing up a talk show to look like a newsroom does not make the actors journalists!!!

  • thanks media matters.. this shit is criminal

  • @kingbadmovie so we are in agreement on legalizing the use, but not any harm resulting from the use of recreational drugs.

  • @TheIcetek I was about to say, you don't seem to be one of those authoritarian republicans, why would you have a problem with it? Agreed, if you break the law you should be held accountable.

  • @kingbadmovie As far as marijuana goes, I actually don't have a problem with the government legalizing it. I just think we need to return to a time when we actually hold people accountable for their actions. Enough of saying "he had a rough upbringing, no love etc." Noone forced a particular criminal to commit crimes like that. If you drink and drive or are under the influence, you should pay the price of your choice to do so.

  • @TheIcetek Indeed. And what happened during prohibition? Crime rates went up. Prior to 1914, the homicide rate in large cities was 5.6 per 100,000 people. That jumped to 10 per 100,000 people in 1920. That's a 78% increase. Numerous other violent crimes rose as well. Prohibition is beautiful because it shows the correlation between the making a substance illegal and crime. I agree, personal responsibility and moderation are a necessary, but why wouldn't this apply to drugs as well as alcohol?
