One of my all-time favorite actors. Starman is very special movie for me also. I remember seeing it when I was just a kid and was blown away the acting, the emotion, the music, everything! And he just keeps on making more and more wonderful movies. May he go on to entertain us all for many more years to come.

Travers fails in not mentioning AAS's BIGGEST SNUB - 1993's "Fearless", directed by the great Peter Weir. JB phenomenally played crash survivor, Max Klein. This, imo, was his masterpiece role for which he deseved Best Actor Oscar.

I like seeing Jeff Bridges on screen playing coolness as Penguin surfer or Alien/geek arcade gamer in Tron or even some psycho knife killer.

With the good and proper upbringing by his famous father..Mr.Lloyd Bridges..Mr.Jeff Bridges obvisiously doesn't care about the award..the appleasue and the respect and admiration from the fans..myself included is his reward.God Bless You Mr.Bridges.
