DH travels into the woods of Foster, RI in search of William Potter's lost mill village. Six mills were built in the early 19th century on a six acre plot and manned by Potter's son and step sons. . . until a tragic death and fire erased the ambitious community from Rhode Island's maps.

  • I thought I had mentioned that the tree had most likely been hit by lightning. I certainly thought that. The walking sticks were quite weird, but I do admit to reading other sources that indicated other foundations remained. I am a bit disappointed that no others exist, as you say.

Thanks for sharing information. The more, the better accurate an investigation we can put together.

  • just for the sake of the matter. that tree and the ones around it burned because the fallen tree was hit by lightning. oddly enough a couple members from the greenville paranormal society called it in. I am a resident in town and have ghost hunted here many times. (tonight even) there is ALOT of activity, and just so you know you were already in the main factory the majority of foundations were destroyed or removed.
