Exactly jinkykaruna.There are plenty of videos showing chinese magic lantern festivals here on YT in China,Taiwan,etc.I especially like the videos where there are airplanes with fireworks attached to the wings at airshows and people tag them with "UFO".Hilarious.

These are sky lanterns. People really need to wake up to these things. Loads are being sold on ebay - sometimes in packs of 100, loads at Glastonbury Festival last year. They are about 3ft tall, float upwards and drift with the wind until they burn out or go out of sight which is why the numbers on this vid decrease over time. Mark my words - there will be loads of 'sightings' like this after all the new years eve vids get uploaded. You will KNOW when you see a real spacecraft.
