Dale McWright Wrote and recorded his only composition "My Brother" In memory of his Brother Ed, Who died in Vietnam from battle wounds Nov, 15, 1966.
After Dale Heard his recorded version He shyly grinned and said "Do you think the Disc Jockeys will play it?"
Dale Also Lost his life During the Battle for Hue, Feb, 17, 1968. He was recommended for the Bronze Star Medal.
Dale And Ed lived in Dallas, Texas.

  • I met Dale in Staging Battalion at Camp Pendleton in December 1967. We set beside one another on the flight from Okinawa to Da Nang. We were assigned to different units after we arrived in Vietnam. I didn’t know that he had been killed until I got back home.
