  • i love the girls voice ;)

  • @KayWildcat Actually I removed the comment. Wrote it after a nap I had, sorry.

  • @MrCure4 No music itself isn't what's subjective.....you have to understand the concept of the term before using it.....it's only when it comes to the reception of music where a subjetive situation would errupt. Hence, the constant variation of opinions.....

  • @MrCure4 Sure, but I would hate it if Jablonsky composed for The Avengers....I mean I don't have much hope for that film, but I do enjoy superhero films (apart from the latest releases)...but lately the scores for some of the Marvel flicks are just terrible. I would prefer some great music.....like what Elfman did with Spiderman....I know for a fact that if Jablonsky scored for The Avengers we will not get anything worth very much..

  • @KayWildcat Once again-To each their own KayWildcat but I'm still gonna suggest Jablonsky for The Avengers till they choose a composer and I'm still going to go around listening to his music and listing him as one of my favorites. And if that means I do have bad taste, so be it if it sounds good to me I like it, if it doesn't it doesn't.

  • @MrCure4 Oh & one more thing, Jablonsky is a rip-off artist. There were MANY instances where he just lifts melodies & copies direct rhythmic & thematic patterns of Zimmer's work.

For example, you seem to like My Name is Lincoln, but clearly you haven't heard Zimmer's iconic song "Now We Are Free" from the film Gladiator. My Name is Lincoln is just among his many cheap recreations, but the problem is that it lacks the soul & quality of Zimmer's work. Recently, It's Our Fight is another example...

  • @MrCure4 False once again. You don't quite understand their relationship. Yes, Zimmer can be seen as his teacher, but Zimmer doesn't really get involved with the compositions of Jablonsky's films. That is a misunderstanding Zimmer pointed out himself. Zimmer is credited with all of Jablonsky's films, because he owns Remote Control, a label that Jablonsky stands under. I have listened to all those, and they are nothing but cheap, generic recreations of the typical "Zimmer sound".

  • @KayWildcat Actually he is a student of Zimmer and is from the same company, that's why his music sounds similar. Hans has also chipped in some of the films Steve has worked on and vice versa. They're both really tight. You should do some research before you make assumptions that he is some sort of rip-off artist. If you think Jablonksy is a crap musician go listen to My Name is Lincoln, Decepticons, The Fallen, Forest Battle, Dark Side of the Moon, Optimus Prime, Scorponok, Blackout attacks.
