Love Sucks - 48 Hour Film Festival Submission

An unusual relationship foiled by an unusual affair.

This short film was submitted to the 48 Hour Film Festival (48hourfilm.com) in Baltimore, Maryland in June of 2008. The basic premise of this festival is to randomly choose a genre at 7:30pm on Friday. Each team then has to write, produce, and post a short film and deliver it by 7:30pm on Sunday.

Our genre was romance but this is clearly more of a comedy. In addition to the random genre, we also had to include a prop (pair of earrings) and a line of dialog ("I was thinking the same thing").

I completed the editing, sound fx, music score, opening title animation and end credits on Sunday afternoon and the film was delivered with 10 minutes to spare.
