Fantastic it the dynamic leadership and team effort of Gray, S. Brown, K. Brown to take the District back to a laughing stock and punching Tea bag for young Republicans. What a hot mess this is becoming. This is only the top of the iceberg. Ridiculous. Well folks, those of you voted for Gray, drink the kool-aid.

He has served well before he got into politics. "poverty pimp" I think not. Tough Love you say, WTH! We didn't vote for a parent but for a responsible, responsive leader. Fenty is in the position that he is in because he he has not served his people well. Unfortunately for those who live in DC and impacted by his administration he has not demonstrated the qualities of a good leader. So former DC Resident, do me a favor know what you are talking about before throwing around labels.

@tobor58: I always think that it is much more prudent if people knew what they were talking about before expressing opinion. Gray has been serving the needs of children and families in this city for a very long time. I may not have always agreed with him but I respected his position and the fact that he always did his homework - including getting the opinion of the people he was representing before making a programmatic or policy decision.

Oh Please! Are you kidding me? She has been silent and should remain silent - because all this clip demonstrates is that she is as disconnected from DC as her husband. She just realized reading the polling numbers! Where has she been for the last four years. BTW, I personally know as a fact that she and her cronies don't have much respect for African-American women. Its clear the Fentys need to go! Nothing personal. I wish them the best of luck somewhere else.

Dude might be a jerk but the city is better off with tough love.

I am former DC resident and voter, I lived through drug using mayors, mayors that shopped till they dropped, bow-tied mayors. This guy is a bit of brat and some arrogance but the city has not been harmed.. The other candidate is playing the poverty pimp game of "we" poor-folks are being dissed, elect me and I will "respect" you. Make sure the city services are delivered and my children are educated, safe streets that respects me.

Very courageous of her to publicly address strong accusations against the man she loves.

I am a DC resident, and only one question matters to me: Are we better off today than we were four years ago? The only objective answer is a clear "yes". To the extent that it matters at all, whether or not a leader is or is not a nice person is far less relevant than whether or not he or she acts in our interests. On schools, public safety, economic development and more, Fenty has delivered. Big time.
