bangkok is the gay place to be if you are around southeast asia...definitely give KL a miss although what i do knw the one small gay club/disco/bar to go in KL is BLUEBOY around bukit bintang...although i have not been there for ages...

@spunkyspunky666 that is something you dont know about malaysia... they move silently n we''ve never know when they will strike... the average malaysian maybe appear to be open-minded but in fact they disgust us from inside... you should be careful n cautious... n if you planning on the visit, i greet you with 'selamat datang ke malaysia'...

just because a country lacks nightlife... doesnt make it a boring place... maybe its more of a family-oriented place

@TheElixir007 it certainly doesnt lack nightlife. it's just that two things were going on here a)Ramadhan and b) i didnt go to the right places... so there's tons of nightlife going on in KL, you just have to be smart and go look for it during the appropriate time (as opposed to me who just dropped by whenever i could... but what can i say, i'm a lazy tourist...)

gay activities are forbidden in malaysia... police will raid any licensed night club if there is a gay-related activity going on... most malaysian view gays as abomination n they will not cooperate...

@ImperialEarthEmpire uhm... COMPLETELY untrue... i went to a malaysian GAY nightclub (and a pretty BIG and NICE one), saw malaysian GAY people on the street, and made out with a GAY malaysian bartender and absolutely nothing happened... no raids, no police, no nothing... had a great time there and planning to go back for more!
